Triangle Y Soccer Club

 The team did really well in this game. We kept possession of the ball for a good majority of the game and out shot the other team.

Our defense has improved tremendously! No longer are we playing a game of hot potato but the girls are clearing the ball up the field and dribbling to space before clearing the ball. 

Sam was awarded the game ball patch this game. Good job!

 This week Coaches Chris and Bob stepped in to coach the Courage!

The girls played well working as a team and deflecting many shots.

Christina out shined in the game with many saves and a great effort as goal keeper!

The game patch went to Veronica for all her efforts on offence!

 The girls stepped up this week working really well together and communicating very well.

Callie and Sam were turning their hips to pump out some very good angled shots!

Claire, Jordan and Caroline worked well with their teammates to make several assists!

Hannah worked on improving her shots, using her laces!

Christina, Veronica and Abby  had several shots on goal and continues to follow her shots!

Marlee stepped up on defense deflecting all shots on our goal! Now she is determined to win the candy bar for making a shot from half field :)

These girls played really well!! Good Job!

 The girls played well this past week. We will continue to work on strengthening our defense and not crossing the ball in front of our own goal. 

The game ball went to Marlee for her out standing effort on defense. Marlee sprinted down the field and blocked 3 shots on goal! Marlee also made her first hat trick (3 goals in one game)!! Good Job Marlee!

 The girls looked much better this game. They are spreading themselves out and communicating a lot more!

The team patch went to Jordan for her improvement on offence, looking up and dribbling! Good Job!

The game ball patch went to Caroline! This was Caroline's first goal as a Courage player and I am very impressed with the great goal she made!

 The girls looked better this week. We will continue to work on spreading out and communicating with our teammates.

The game ball went to Hannah. Hannah took several shots on goal in this game and each shot she improved on and showed us the 4 rules to make a great goal. Good Job!

Good Game Courage!!

 Our first game of the season started off against the Freedom team. The girls looked good out there and were learning from their mistakes as the game progressed.  Hannah made her second debut as goal keeper in the first half and our seasoned keeper, Caroline, blocked several shots in the second half. Callie made her first goal as a Courage player and Sam with the help from several of her team mates made sure to tie us up in the final minute of play.

The game patch this week went to Claire! This is Claire's first time playing soccer and she showed her team mates and the Freedom team how determined she was to win the ball. Good Job Claire!
